  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting

  • Small check mark in a circle icon Decorating icing, decorating sprinkles and sugar

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil; spray bottom and sides of foil with cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan. Bake 28 to 33 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
  2. Using foil to lift, remove from pan, and peel away foil. Place brownie on work surface. Use sharp knife to cut tree shape in brownie as shown in photo.
  3. Arrange remaining brownie pieces to form second tree as shown in photo. Arrange both brownie trees on a serving platter or board; insert pretzel rod in bottom of each brownie to form tree trunk.
  4. In medium bowl, stir frosting and food color until well combined. Spread or pipe frosting onto brownies. Use decorating icing, sprinkles and sugars to decorate brownies as desired using photo as a guide. Cut into pieces to serve. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
